Biography

Dr Simon Hughes has been a teacher, lecturer, governor, inspector and director of education in a career spanning close to 40 years. He has designed and led provision, much of which has been enabled or improved by technology. After officially retiring in July 2022, he has been supporting the training and development of new teachers – with a focus on Religious Education. He is also supporting Church of England schools prepare for their SIAMS inspections as well as bespoke individual projects which combine research, providing advice and staff professional learning opportunities.
